Algorithm engineering Python/Go developer (full time) -- Two positions

Job Description

In this position you will be tasked with software engineering tasks for supporting our applied algorithmic research efforts internally in the company as well as for our customers. Additionally, you will actively be contributing to high impact open source projects that Mathematic.ai is extensively using. Tasks may be related to a single project or may span over multiple projects.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

A strong background in mathematics/statistics as well as in computer science/engineering (M.Sc. or PhD is a plus)
High proficiency in Python and/or in Golang (High proficiency in R/Matlab/Octave/Mathematica is also good but Python/Golang is a must!)
A solid experience and background in Machine Learning.
Multidisciplinary and eager to constantly learn new things, develop new skills and to apply knowledge and skills to solving hard problems.
Positive spirit, collaboration and transparent communication
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment
Experience in actively contributing code to open source projects is a big plus.
Brain research background is a plus.
Experience working with Big Data is a big plus.
Experience working continuous delivery environments is a big plus.

Location -- Israel

You can work from anywhere you want: home, our offices in Tel-Aviv, you choose from where. Our company is distributed and we collaborate on the web. No need to come to the office, unless you want to.
